
Robert J. Hanna is a Partner in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP and chair of its Business Litigation group. He is a trial lawyer with broad experience in all aspects of business litigation. Much of his practice focuses on unfair competition claims, fiduciary duty claims, non-competition agreements, trade secret, real estate litigation, and other business related torts. He also has significant experience in matters involving class actions, securities litigation, professional liability, accountants, broker-dealers, officer and director liability issues, and manufacturing disputes. Rob has tried and arbitrated cases in Ohio, California, Michigan, and West Virginia and before the FINRA (formerly NASD) and the American Arbitration Association. He routinely counsels and lectures on electronic discovery, trade secrets, non-competition, and UCC warranty matters.
Rob is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. On behalf of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, he has been asked to serve as lead trial counsel, prosecuting disciplinary violations by attorneys. He is a life-long Clevelander and, with four children, finds himself regularly coaching or watching basketball, volleyball, and fast-pitch softball.
