
Karen E. Ross is an Associate in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP. She is a member of the Trial Department and practices in the areas of mass tort, product liability, medical malpractice, and pharmaceutical liability. Her practice includes the defense of some of the nation’s leading manufacturers and medical care providers. She provides in-depth representation for these clients through all phases of the litigation process, including serving as national and local counsel.
Prior to joining TEW, Karen was a Judicial Attorney for the Honorable Beth Whitmore in the Ohio Court of Appeals, Ninth Judicial Circuit, where she was responsible for researching and drafting opinions on civil, criminal, constitutional and procedural issues. She also worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Office of the Cuyahoga County Prosecuting Attorney.
She is a member of the American, Federal, Ohio State, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations.
Karen also serves on TEW’s Pipeline Initiative Diversity Subcommittee. She coaches John Hay High School’s Mock Trial Teams, participates in The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs Program, and created TEW’s John Hay High School Mentoring Program to ensure successful high school students become successful college students. Additionally, Karen judges Ohio’s High School Mock Trial Competition and the National Trial Competition and participates in the Mock Interview Program at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Karen has also prosecuted disciplinary cases by serving on Trial Committees for The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
