Seven Tucker Ellis Attorneys Elected to Firm Partnership

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that it has elected seven attorneys to the firm’s partnership effective January 1, 2024.

Kristen Baracy assists clients in complex and routine business law issues. Ms. Baracy’s experience includes representing both privately held and public companies, where she has worked on public and private offerings of securities, compliance with rules and regulations enforced by the Securities and Exchange Commission, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She has assisted in alternative public offerings for companies in the green technology sector, and she has worked with high-tech companies with corporate governance and corporate contracts and agreements. Ms. Baracy received her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Ashley Gault concentrates on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of real property assets, debt and equity financing, land use planning, joint ventures, and the formation and operation of ownership entities. She has extensive experience negotiating purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, development agreements, leases, and financing documents for commercial and government projects. Ms. Gault received her law degree from Florida University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from John Carroll University.
Valeria Golodnitska defends a diverse group of manufacturers, suppliers, and premises owners in product liability, negligence, premises, and commercial litigation. She has experience defending all types of personal injury and wrongful death claims, as well as indemnity, third-party, and cross claims in both state and federal courts. Ms. Golodnitska also has significant experience in representing clients in commercial litigation and contractual disputes, and she has extensive experience in all stages of civil litigation, including trial and post-trial, as well as pre-suit investigations. She received her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Peter Jones advises business owners, companies, and fiduciaries on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), transition strategies, corporate governance, employee benefits, executive compensation, and mergers and acquisitions. His significant experience includes representing companies and trustees in the formation of ESOPs, the sale of ESOP-owned companies, and acquisitions undertaken by ESOP-owned companies. He also advises clients on regulatory compliance and defends them in connection with audits and investigations by the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Jones received his law degree summa cum laude from Capital University Law School and his undergraduate degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
Faustina Lee supports clients in the procurement and protection of intellectual property rights. She counsels brand owners on trademark clearance, prosecution of trademark applications, proper trademark use and maintenance, management of global trademark portfolios, licensing, and trademark enforcement. She also has extensive experience in resolving domain name disputes and removing infringing online content. Registered to practice in patent matters before the USPTO, she has assisted technology companies with patentability analysis, patent prosecution, and patent infringement matters. Ms. Lee received her law degree from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law and her undergraduate electrical engineering degree cum laude from Loyola Marymount University.
Lindsey Sacher represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex business and tort litigation. A trial lawyer, Ms. Sacher handles all stages of litigation, through trial and the appellate process. She has substantial experience defending clients in nearly every type of tort claim – among them claims involving premises and product liability, negligence, and toxic exposures. Her tort cases allege a wide variety of damages from death and catastrophic injuries to property loss and destruction. In addition, she has significant experience with insurance coverage matters and regularly litigates business and commercial disputes. Ms. Sacher received her law degree magna cum laude from Case Western University School of Law, and her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Miami University.
Jay Shultz focuses his practice on product liability, toxic tort, and pharmaceutical liability matters. He is a member of national counsel and local trial counsel teams for clients in industries including vertical transportation, cosmetics, heavy equipment, construction materials, and home appliances. In those roles, he handles all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, developing corporate and expert witnesses, motion practice, trial preparation, and negotiating favorable resolutions. Mr. Shultz also litigates commercial matters, employment matters, and property and zoning disputes. He received his law degree cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois.
