
Keith H. Raker is a Partner in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP and chairs the firm’s real estate and franchising practices. Keith’s practice emphasizes real estate finance, credit enhancements, project finance, acquisitions, sales, like-kind exchanges, franchising and office, retail, industrial and ground leasing. Keith is also experienced in structuring transactions involving the syndication of Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits. He has closed real estate transactions in over 30 states.
Keith also represents clients in various aspects of the gaming industry, including clients involved in Ohio’s new casinos and various non-profit clients in charitable gaming matters.
Keith was born and raised in Granville, Ohio and moved to the Cleveland area in 1995 after practicing in Toledo, Ohio for 3 years. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, boating, skiing and biking.
Keith has been certified as a Specialist in Business, Commercial and Industrial Real Property Law by The Ohio State Bar Association and is a member of the American, Ohio, New York and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. He is a frequent author and speaker on real estate topics. Keith recently served as the Chair of the Real Estate Law Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is a former chair of the Real Estate Law Institute.
