On December 2, Rita Maimbourg and John McCaffrey spoke at the ACTL Ethics, Professionalism and Substance Abuse program, co-sponsored by the Ohio State Bar Association and The American College of Trial Lawyers. John, the program’s course planner, and Rita joined other distinguished attorneys on two panels: Ethics, focusing on issues illustrated by the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct, recent Ohio disciplinary cases, and video clips produced by ACTL; and Professionalism: centering on The Supreme Court of Ohio’s “A Lawyer’s Creed” and “A Lawyer’s Aspirational Ideals,” as well as ACTL pre-trial and trial codes. The program was held in Columbus and simulcast to Akron, Cleveland, Fairfield, Perrysburg, and Wooster.
