Erica E. McGregor

Erica E. McGregor is Counsel in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP. Erica’s practice focuses on estate planning, charitable planning and annual reporting, federal wealth transfer taxation, estate and trust administration, fiduciary income taxation, business succession planning, and probate and trust litigation. She also has experience with real estate matters related to estate and gift planning and estate and trust administration. Erica is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.

Erica has been a frequent speaker on estate planning and estate tax related topics, including as a presenter at the Ohio State Bar Association’s 2011 Marvin R. Pliskin Advanced Probate and Estate Planning Seminar in Columbus and at the 2004 and 2009 Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Estate Planning Institute. Erica has also spoken on planning with Section 529 College Savings Plans at the request of the Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Cleveland Bar Association. She has been published in the Probate Law Journal of Ohio.

Erica received her B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. She has served as President of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland and serves on the Executive Council for the Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Ohio Super Lawyer has named Erica a Rising Star five times.

In addition to her professional activities and affiliations, Erica, an avid golfer, is a member of the Board of Directors for The First Tee of Cleveland, a youth education organization that teaches core values and life skills through the game of golf. A Michigan native and proud Wolverine, she has also served as President of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland.
