Erica E. McGregor

Erica E. McGregor is Counsel in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP. Erica’s practice experience covers a broad range of matters, including estate planning, charitable planning and annual reporting, federal wealth transfer taxation, estate and trust administration, fiduciary income taxation, business succession planning, and probate and trust litigation. Erica also has experience with real estate matters related to estate and gift planning and estate and trust administration.

Erica has been a frequent speaker on estate planning and estate tax related topics, including as a presenter at the 2004 and 2009 Cleveland Bar Association Estate Planning Institute and at numerous Ohio State Bar Association seminars. Erica has also spoken on planning with Section 529 College Savings Plans at the request of the Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Cleveland Bar Association. She has been published in the Probate Law Journal of Ohio.

Erica received her B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. She is the Immediate Past President of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland and serves on the Executive Council for the Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Cleveland Bar Association. Erica has three times been named an Ohio Super Lawyer – Rising Star by Cincinnati Magazine.

In addition to her professional activities and affiliations, Erica is a member of the Board of Directors for The First Tee of Cleveland. She has also served as President of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland and currently enjoys being a part of their involvement in the “Cleveland Goes to College” program in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
