Martin J. Yi

Martin Yi uses his legal research and writing skills to help clients protect their intellectual property.

Martin assists clients in the areas of trademark prosecution and copyright and trademark litigation. His prosecution work centers on establishing or managing intellectual property rights, and his litigation work is primarily focused on enforcing these rights against infringers.

During law school, Martin honed his legal skills as a member of the University of Southern California Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic, where he advised clients on legal issues such as fair use and work-for-hire agreements. He also served as a Judicial Extern to Judge Margo A. Rocconi in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, assisting the judge in drafting decisions and identifying their legal bases.

Raised in Los Angeles, Martin loves film, soccer, and attending concerts – he DJs in his off time! When not engaging in his hobbies, Martin can often be found playing with his cat, Louie.
