Tucker Ellis Volunteers Teach 3Rs at CEC High School

February 2018

Twelve Tucker Ellis attorneys taught the 3Rs at Cleveland Early College (CEC) High School during fall semester 2017. 3Rs is an award-winning program through which attorneys teach a law-based curriculum and provide career counseling to U.S. Government students at high schools in the Cleveland and East Cleveland Municipal School Districts.

No other law firm has as many 3Rs volunteers participating in the 3Rs as Tucker Ellis. Our 2017 volunteers were: Elisa Arko, Allison Burke, Brandon Cox, Freddie Cruz, Sarena Holder, Melissa Kelly, Emily Knight, Zach LaFleur, Ludgy LaRochelle, Marcus Pryor, and Carter Strang, a former Government teacher who has drafted the 3Rs curriculum for over a decade and serves on the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs Committee.  Volunteers joining our Tucker Ellis attorneys were Brandon Brown – our first Tucker Ellis Pipeline Program participant to graduate from law school – and Tucker Ellis alums Drew Odum and Casey Holzapfel.
