On January 8, Susan Racey presented “Postnuptial Agreements: What to Know and How It Could Impact Your Practice” to the Columbus Bar Association Family Law Committee. Susan provided a history and overview of Ohio S.B. 210, which allows Ohio spouses to voluntarily enter into postnuptial agreements and amend or terminate prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Susan highlighted some of the benefits of the change in the law, protections and best practices, and practical considerations for family law practitioners.
