On June 26, Knight Anderson spoke at the American Conference Institute’s 17th National Advanced Forum on Asbestos Claims & Litigation in Chicago. Knight joined two other speakers to present “Evaluating the Need for Daubert Hearings Challenging Expert Opinions and Methodologies in Light of Barabin.” The session explored the impact of Barabin on federal and state practice and discussed whether the judge or jury holds the role of gatekeeper when it comes to including and excluding expert testimony.
