On November 7, Joe Morford took part in a panel discussion at The Law Firm Innovation Summit 2018 at Suffolk University Law School in Boston. The conference identified and brought together leading-edge examples of law firms aspiring to challenge commonly accepted, conventional ways of thinking. The panelists discussed innovations in law firm organizational structures and talent models, as well as innovations in the roles of attorneys and other professionals within law firms. They also explored innovations in the different phases of the legal talent management life cycle, including recruiting, hiring, integration, diversity, work allocation, professional development, employee engagement, performance assessment and recognition, and advancement. The session culminated with ways for law firm talent management leaders to contribute to and capitalize on a culture of innovation.
