Tucker Ellis team represents Chemtron in deal with Tonawanda

Tucker Ellis represented Chemtron Corporation, a hazardous and non-hazardous waste transporter in the Midwest, in its acquisition of certain assets of Tonawanda Environmental Corporation and Tonawanda Tank Transport Service. Tonawanda Environmental Corporation is a full-service waste management company that provides comprehensive services for waste characterization, selection of disposal methods, and disposal site options. Chemtron is owned by Kinderhook Industries, a private investment firm that manages over $3 billion in assets that has made more than 200 investments and follow-on acquisitions. Kinderhook has a strong focus on environmental services and currently has six platform companies in this industry.

Representing Chemtron in the transaction were Christopher Hewitt and Jayne Juvan. Also assisting Chemtron were Ludgy LaRochelle (corporate counsel), Justin Eddy (real estate counsel), and Joseph Koncelik (environmental counsel).
