On May 7, Melissa Kelly and Ariana Bernard spoke at the Ohio State Bar Association’s (OSBA) 22nd Annual Advanced Labor and Employment Law Seminar. In their presentation, “Managing the Machine: Employment Law in an AI-Driven World,” Melissa and Ariana examined the growing use of AI in hiring, recruiting, and other employment decision-making, with a focus on potential bias, transparency, and compliance risks. They also addressed emerging issues around copyright and ownership of AI-generated work, confidentiality concerns, and practical considerations for implementing AI responsibly in the workplace.
