On September 16, Maha Kabbash and Diana Katz Gerstel participated in the International Association of Defense Counsel’s (IADC) Product Liability Roundtable 2025 in Whippany, New Jersey. The full-day program, sponsored jointly by the Product Liability Committee and the Drug, Device and Biotechnology Committee, created a forum for in-house counsel and outside counsel to learn together and discuss new developments in the product liability arena.

Maha was a panelist discussing a broad range of topics relevant to the formation and management of aggregated and consolidated litigation. Key topics included current trends in decisions by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation in federal product liability cases, as well as admissibility of expert testimony and jurisdictional issues.

Diana was part of a panel updating attendees on decisions over the past year that have reverberations on product liability practice across the country. The panelists also highlighted product liability issues and cases to watch.
