Maha Kabbash focuses her practice on the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device companies in product liability litigation.

Twenty-five years into her career, Maha is a soup-to-nuts litigator. Her practical experience infuses every stage of defending a product liability lawsuit – from drafting pleadings to written and electronic discovery, taking depositions of plaintiffs and treating providers, preparing and representing company employees at their depositions, developing expert reports and testimony, and engaging in motion practice – through trial and appeal.

Ranked in Chambers USA in the area of Litigation: Product Liability (New Jersey), Maha wins praise for her strong litigation practice. “She regularly handles high-value product liability disputes and offers notable expertise in cases concerning the healthcare sector.” One client adds, “Maha is personable, responsive and fun to work with.” Other Chambers sources describe Maha as an impressive and exceptional attorney and a quick study who “will not be out-worked.”

A committed champion of equity, diversity, and inclusion in both the legal community and the community at large, Maha has devoted years of volunteer service to local and national civil rights and cultural organizations. She currently serves on the Parish Council and Charity Committee of her church.

Maha is a fiercely proud “Jersey Girl.” Outside of work, she loves live music of (almost) any variety, being groupie-in-chief at her husband’s and children’s rock gigs, and singing in the church choir. She also enjoys pilates, home design, and time spent down the shore.
