Josh Fellenbaum Discusses Dispute Resolution at International Chamber of Commerce USA Event

May 9, 2023

On May 9, Josh Fellenbaum was a panelist at “Building a Dispute Resolution Toolbox,” an event sponsored by Tucker Ellis and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) USA. The event, supported by the United States Council for International Business/ICC USA and hosted by the Cleveland State University (CSU) College of Law, helped corporate counsel and law firm practitioners to decide which dispute avoidance and resolution tools are right for their business or clients. Joining Josh were co-panelists Claire Starza-Allen, Global Director of Legal and Commercial at Kin + Carta in London; Marek Krasula, Director of Arbitration and ADR, North America at International Chamber of Commerce in New York; and Quo Vadis Cobb, Vice President of Internal Audit at Jacobs in Cleveland. Moderating the panel was Mark J. Sundahl, Professor of Law at CSU College of Law. The panelists explored the nuances of both domestic and international arbitration, including arbitration clauses, confidentiality considerations, managing costs, timing of awards, expedited arbitration, arbitrator selection, and document production. They also shared innovations and practical tips to save time and costs and discussed how to better align arbitration with the needs and expectations of businesses.
