Karl holds degrees in physics, chemistry, and computer science, and brings over 20 years of experience in high-technology patent prosecution. Karl’s area of technical expertise includes computer architectures and specialized processors; enterprise software, cloud computing, and distributed systems; generative AI and machine learning systems; automotive mapping and navigation technologies; wireless charging and power transfer systems, including EV applications; semiconductors and integrated circuit design; electronic design automation (EDA) tools and methodologies; electronic devices and digital media technologies; and advanced light sources, including laser systems, LEDs, and photonic devices.
