
Richard Dean is a Partner in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP. He is a trial lawyer specializing in complex litigation. He has tried pharmaceutical, antitrust and business litigation cases all over the United States. He has been active in the defense of class action cases.
Mr. Dean has served as national counsel to pharmaceutical companies regarding prescription drug litigation and has tried antitrust cases for Fortune 50 companies.
Mr. Dean served as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 1973-1974. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Section on Litigation) and numerous bar associations in the states in which he is admitted. Mr. Dean has written articles on defending against punitive damages claims, the effective use of epidemiology and the Restatement of Torts, Third. He is listed in The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers’ for his work in the area of product liability.
