John J. Yoo

Before and during law school, John supported matters across entertainment, arts, real estate, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. First as a legal assistant, John worked on complex transactional matters for corporations and the entertainment and arts communities. Then as a law clerk at a California real estate firm, John researched, drafted, and filed ex parte motions and complaints, commercial real estate purchase agreements and amendments, and memoranda involving California real property, contracts, and tort statutes and cases.

Before entering law school, John also worked for a global aerospace and defense company, where he headed negotiations and requests for proposal for multimillion-dollar contracts with the U.S. Government. He developed and implemented a company-wide web program that eliminated a backlog of more than 1,000 closed-out contracts. John applies the skills he acquired through these varied experiences to support Tucker Ellis attorneys and clients across an array of service areas.

Outside the office, John can usually be found on the golf course, cheering on Tottenham, USC, and the Dodgers, or exploring the next great restaurant or coffee shop.
