Ashley B. Avakian
Ashley Avakian supports litigation teams across a range of practice areas, drawing on hands-on experience in civil litigation and access-to-justice advocacy.
Ashley assists with research, discovery, and motion practice, cultivating a pragmatic approach to motion strategy and case development in complex commercial disputes.
Ashley honed her legal research and writing skills as a writing advisor at UCLA School of Law. While at UCLA, Ashley provided legal assistance to immigrant survivors of domestic abuse as part of the El-Centro VAWA-U-Visa Clinic where she was responsible for interviewing clients and preparing applications to gain lawful status.
Ashley additionally assisted with self-represented litigants through JusticeCorps, where she completed court forms, triaged cases, and collaborated with attorneys and court staff in divorce, parentage, restraining order, and unlawful detainer proceedings. This frontline experience sharpened her judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail—qualities she brings to every matter with a client-first mindset.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys Pilates and trying new coffee spots.
