V. Sathienmars has been selected for membership in Leadership San Francisco (LSF), a professional development program affiliated with the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Foundation. LSF is primarily targeted towards San Francisco elected officials, senior public servants, business and corporate leaders, nonprofit executives, and community organizers. LSF transforms its members into “community trustees” who will work together to leverage their lived experiences as San Francisco residents, their professional accomplishments, their social networks, and their history of community engagement towards the continuing economic, cultural, and social development of San Francisco.

As a new LSF member, V. will participate in the “Intro San Francisco” community trustee incubator program, which consists of six half-day seminars over the course of two months hosted by subject matter experts on City-specific topics, including history and politics, demographics, the economy, education, transportation, the environment, public safety, tourism, and culture. LSF members will continue to participate in a variety of professional development and networking activities hosted by various San Francisco companies and organizations, as well as the City and County of San Francisco itself. LSF also maintains an active alumni association, which was founded in 1985 and has nearly 1,500 LSF members.
