Tucker Ellis hosted its 2026 Litigation Institute in Cleveland last week, bringing together 60 associates and faculty from across the firm for two days of hands-on training, mentorship, and collaboration focused on developing the skills of the firm’s next generation of trial lawyers.

The program covered a range of topics relevant to today’s litigation practice, including discovery, e-discovery, appellate issues, and the effective use of AI throughout the life of a case. Associates also put their advocacy skills into practice through two rounds of opening-statement exercises before experienced faculty evaluators, receiving feedback as they worked through the exercises. Additional programming included a presentation on the firm’s Associate Mentor Program and a session focused on wellbeing in the law.

The Institute concluded with closing remarks and key takeaways, followed by a celebratory dinner for participants.
