On September 15, the Tucker Ellis Equity & Inclusion Committee sponsored Norman S. Minor Bar Association’s (NSMBA) Third  Annual Law Student Summit, “Navigating the Muddy Waters of Law School.” Tucker Ellis also proudly sponsored NSMBA’s inaugural and second annual summits in 2016 and 2017.

The Law Student Summit, open to diverse Northeast Ohio law students who are traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession, featured panel discussions by legal professionals who shared their knowledge, experiences, and wisdom on how best to navigate law school and prepare for a career in law. Among the participants were Tucker Ellis Diversity Chair Sanford Watson, who spoke on a panel discussing “Mentors vs. Sponsors,” Brandon Cox, who moderated a panel on “Non-Traditional Legal Careers,” and attendee Ludgy LaRochelle.
