Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that John Slagter has joined the firm’s Real Estate Group as a partner.

For more than 25 years, Mr. Slagter has practiced in all facets of real estate, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, finance, construction, eminent domain, and real property tax. He devotes a significant part of his practice to land use and zoning, where he delivers unparalleled solutions in protecting and advancing property rights. His industry experience includes commercial, office, retail, industrial, and residential real estate. In addition to his thriving real estate practice, he provides valuable insight to public companies, middle-market businesses, and private equity and venture capital clients.

Mr. Slagter joins Tucker Ellis from Buckingham Doolittle Burroughs, LLC, where he previously served as president, managing partner, and chair of the firm’s real estate and construction law practice. He received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University.
