Following an injury to quarterback Aaron Rodgers on artificial turf early in the football season, NFL players are calling for stadiums to use natural grass for safety. Meanwhile, 71% of NCAA Division I schools have artificial turf football fields. Quoted in an ABC News article, Jen Steinmetz said that litigation related to injuries on artificial turf fields could be on the horizon.

“While we anticipate that turf manufacturers will be the primary target, colleges do face potential liability,” Jen said.
