James Mizgala has received the inaugural Spirit of Hope Award from Thrive Counseling Center. The award recognizes individuals whose leadership, compassion, and dedication advance Thrive’s mission of expanding access to community-centered mental health care. James received the award at Thrive’s Spring Benefit on April 25 in Oak Park, Illinois.

In honoring James, Thrive remarked, “A longtime friend and advocate of Thrive, James served on our Board of Directors for 10 years, including as Board Chair, and offered exceptional leadership and steadfast dedication to our mission. Known for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering commitment to community service, James embodies the spirit of compassion that drives Thrive’s work.”
