Five Tucker Ellis Attorneys Elected to Firm Partnership

December 6, 2022

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that it has elected five attorneys to the firm’s partnership effective January 1, 2023.

Justin Eddy counsels developers, investors, public and private companies, municipalities, townships, and individuals in all matters of real estate, including property acquisition and assembly, financing, development, incentives, zoning and entitlements, divestiture, ownership and management, and real estate joint ventures. He also has experience with issues involving environmental diligence and compliance, conservation easements, title and survey matters, and leasing, as well as real estate litigation experience in receivership matters, land use, and eminent domain. Mr. Eddy received his law degree cum laude from CSU College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Ohio University.

Chad Eggspuehler is an appellate and complex litigation strategist with experience in federal and state courts across the United States. He crafts solutions to complex legal issues at all stages of litigation, ranging from jurisdictional and discovery issues to appellate oral arguments. Mr. Eggspuehler has devised winning strategies for clients in areas including product-liability dispositive and expert-witness motions, unique procedural obstacles, multidistrict litigation, and LGBT civil rights. He has penned winning briefs in state and federal courts across the country, including the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Circuits, and amicus briefs in the Supreme Court of the United States and the Supreme Court of Ohio. Mr. Eggspuehler received his law degree cum laude from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Brian Jackiw represents both plaintiffs and defendants in bankruptcy and commercial litigation, including avoidance actions, complex bankruptcy claim disputes, breach of fiduciary actions, and bankruptcy fraud litigation. He has prosecuted millions of dollars of preference litigation claims on behalf of liquidating trustees and chapter 7 trustees and has defended hundreds of preference and fraudulent transfer claims on behalf of corporate and individual defendants in jurisdictions throughout the United States. In his representations of official committees of unsecured creditors, Brian engages in significant and complex issues on behalf of clients, including assets sales, fiduciary duty litigation, claim disputes, liquidations of assets, and security interest disputes. Mr. Jackiw received his law degree cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the United State Military Academy.

Brendan Kelley focuses his practice on the defense of mass/toxic tort and product liability matters. He helps corporations, local counsel, and insurance companies defend against mass and toxic tort and product liability claims, serving both as local counsel and as part of national coordinating counsel teams. Mr. Kelley counsels and provides strategic direction to clients in the consumer product industry with regard to regulatory compliance for advertising and marketing materials, and he has significant experience litigating commercial, real estate/eminent domain, antitrust, patent infringement, misappropriation of trade secret/non-compete, and employment discrimination matters. Mr. Kelley received his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Baldwin-Wallace College.

Andrea Glinka Przybysz focuses on pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturer liability – specifically regulatory and post-market surveillance issues. She has served on national counsel teams in litigation involving proton-pump inhibitors, sulfonamides, and glitazones, as well as metal-on-metal implants and vaginal mesh. Ms. Glinka Przybysz has successfully defended against injury allegations related to Stevens Johnson’s Syndrome and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, surgical intervention, cancer, and cardiovascular and kidney injuries. She is well versed in regulatory issues pursuant to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and approval pathways for new drugs and premarket devices. Ms. Glinka Przybysz received her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The University of Chicago.
