On June 30, Crain’s Cleveland Business quoted Tom Peppard on the challenging, complex roles that many in-house general counsel balance. Tom noted that while these roles have been traditionally difficult, they are more demanding now than ever before.

“People would think that if you go in-house you do it because it’s easier hours and that you have only one client to know really well,” said Tom. “Now, I think what we’re seeing is people saying ‘I’m the go-to for all these issues and I’m available 24 hours a day.’ It’s myth that in-house means easier hours.”
