On November 14, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (OACTA) honored Ben Sassé and Elisa Arko at the OACTA Annual Business Meeting & Legal Excellence Awards Luncheon in Columbus. Ben, who has served in many OACTA leadership positions and currently co-chairs its Amicus Curiae Committee, received the Frank Seth Hurd Member of the Year Award, which recognizes a member whose commitment to OACTA is truly distinguished. Elisa, co-chair of the Amicus Curiae Committee and the Appellate Advocacy Committee, received the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award, which recognizes contributions to the profession by young lawyers who have been practicing law for 10 years or less. Elisa also was elected to the OACTA Board of Trustees during the meeting.
