Ashley Gault Elected First Woman Board Chair of Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity for 2026–2027

November 26, 2025

Tucker Ellis is proud to announce that real estate attorney Ashley Gault has been elected Chair of the Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity’s Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term, marking the first time a woman will lead the board in the organization’s history. The appointment caps a tenure of service that has coincided with significant growth, including expansion into Lorain County and the appointment of a new chief executive officer, and underscores the nonprofit’s momentum heading into its next strategic cycle.

Ashley, who joined the board in 2018, has held several key leadership positions, serving as Chair of the Finance Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee since 2020. In these roles, she helped guide financial stewardship and long-term strategy as the organization scaled up its operations and impact.

“I’m honored to serve as board chair,” said Ashley. “Being the first woman to hold this role is personally meaningful, but more important is what it signals about opening doors—both within our leadership at Cleveland Habitat and for the families we serve.”
