Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association President Carter Strang welcomed guests to the 2013 Medical/Legal Summit on April 12 and 13 at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. As one of Carter’s presidential initiatives, the CMBA presented the inaugural summit in conjunction with the Academy of Medicine Education Foundation and The Academy of Medicine of Cleveland & Northern Ohio. Tucker Ellis, a sponsor of the Summit, had two of its attorneys featured as speakers: Raymond Marvar spoke on the topic of Physician Practice Acquisitions and Erica James presented a federal update as part of the CMBA’s “Health Law Section Update,” held in conjunction with the Summit. In addition, Ed Taber served on the Planning Committee.
