On June 25, John Slagter presented at the National Business Institute’s (NBI) live online seminar, Zoning and Land Use From Start to Finish. The program provided attorneys, planners, developers, and other professionals with practical guidance on a wide range of zoning and land use issues.

John’s presentation, “Challenging/Defending the Constitutionality of Zoning and Land Use Actions,” addressed constitutional issues that frequently arise in land use disputes, including takings claims, due process challenges, equal protection arguments, and limitations on governmental police power.
