On January 27, Joe Morford spoke at “Law Firm Compensation Strategy: A Virtual Think Tank,” presented by Ark Group. The program focused on the alignment between a firm’s compensation system and its goals – both who they are and who they want to be – and how elements, including the quality of work/results, client satisfaction, profitability, good firm citizenship/partner behavior, and investments for the future, need to be considered along with historical rearward-looking “numbers” to best position a firm for durational success.
