On September 18, Jayne Juvan moderated “What the Boardroom Teaches: Early Lessons and Hard-Won Wisdom,” presented by the Private Directors Association’s (PDA) Cleveland Chapter and hosted by Tucker Ellis. The panelists – Stewart Kohl of Riverside; Paul Carleton, managing partner of Carleton McKenna and Co.; and Bill Koehler, CEO, board member, and investor – are seasoned board directors who have navigated the complex terrain of corporate governance. They explored defining moments, difficult decisions, and the high expectations of directors and shared real stories and practical wisdom into what makes a great board member, as well as what sustains integrity, impact, and leadership over time.
