On September 22, Jayne Juvan was a panelist at the Private Directors Association – Cleveland Chapter (PDA) event, “Leading Under Pressure: The Board’s Role in Crisis Management and Communication.” Jayne and co-panelists Karin Bonev (Managing Director of Dix & Eaton), Ramona Hood (Former President and CEO of FedEx Custom Critical), and Sandy Pianalto (Former CEO of Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland) explored the critical role boards play in anticipating, preparing for, and navigating disruptive events. The panelists addressed essential topics, including building a culture of crisis readiness; delineating effective responsibilities between boards and management; crafting strategic communications with employees, investors, customers, and regulators; and preserving organizational trust when every word and action is scrutinized.
