On November 3, Greg Abrams addressed recent employment law developments in a presentation for the Legislative Committee of the Chicago Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Greg participated in a webinar presentation that addressed multiple new employment-related laws in Illinois, including new wage payment rules, protections against discrimination based on certain hairstyles, and new requirements for non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. The event also featured a panel discussion about employment and human resources challenges with remote workers. Participants included primarily human resources professionals in the Chicago area.
