On June 8, Art Mertes moderated a Private Directors Association (PDA) webinar, “Effective Private Equity Boards – The Evolution of Human Capital Strategy and the Independent Director.” The webinar focused on how PE firms are innovating their approach to human capital to increase portfolio company value, including developing and applying tools to hit the ground running with new portfolio company platform and add-on acquisitions, as well as applying human capital strategy to board structure, engagement of independent directors, and key management roles for the perfect “cast” of leaders.
