On October 14, Karen Ross presented a Professional Conduct CLE on workplace bullying to the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA). Karen provided a refresher on the relevant Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct and considered how professionalism, civility, and ethical obligations intersect with everyday workplace interactions. She took a closer look at workplace bullying and shared ways to identify behaviors that may cross the line from difficult or demanding to harmful and inappropriate. Karen also explored the broader impact bullying can have on individuals, teams, productivity, retention, and organizational culture and shared practical tips and strategies for addressing problematic behavior, navigating challenging workplace dynamics, and helping foster a more respectful, productive, efficient, and healthy legal workplace.
