On October 16, Scott Stitt spoke at the 63rd Annual Midwest Labor and Employment Law Institute sponsored by the Ohio State Bar Association in Columbus. Scott presented a fast-moving, jargon-free review of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) hot topics and litigation risks. The session included the latest ERISA cases from the U.S. Supreme Court, new filings and theories from plaintiffs, the status of cases about retirement plan fees, tobacco surcharges in health plans, and other issues to help employment lawyers spot issues, protect clients, and know when to call for backup.
