Andrew D. Hussar
Drew Hussar represents clients in civil litigation matters from inception through resolution as a member of the Tucker Ellis Business Litigation Group.
Before joining Tucker Ellis, Drew served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David P. Caraker, Jr., South Carolina Circuit Judge and Chief Administrative Judge of General Sessions (Criminal) matters in South Carolina’s Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. Drew drafted orders and opinions, assisted at trials, and accompanied Judge Caraker while “riding circuit” throughout South Carolina. This experience informs his transition into private practice, where he now represents clients in complex, high-stakes business litigation matters in both federal and state courts. Drew’s firsthand insight into the judicial process allows him to navigate every phase of these proceedings while bringing a practical, strategic perspective to our business litigation team.
Drew also practiced as an attorney at a civil defense firm in Canton, Ohio, and at the Horry County Solicitor’s (Prosecutor’s) Office in South Carolina. Previously, he served as a law clerk under the chief prosecutor during State v. Meagan Jackson, a South Carolina murder trial receiving national media attention that was featured on ABC’s 20/20.
Drew lives in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood with his fiancé, Olivia. Outside the office, he enjoys being outside, trying local restaurants, coffee shops, going to the movies, and arguing about the next Cleveland Browns quarterback.
