When asked what advice she would give to an associate who wants to make partner, Elisa said, “Find people who support you and want you to succeed, and when you do find them, work hard. Put your head down and take the opportunities that come your way.”

In discussing work-life balance, avoiding burnout, and maintaining career momentum, Elisa advised setting realistic boundaries to ensure that you don’t take on too much. She also stressed the importance of finding and making friends because “it is the relationships in this profession that will help you get through those tough swells.”
