Jayne Juvan Joins BVU to Discuss How Good Governance Separates Thriving Organizations from Struggling Ones

February 26, 2026

On April 30, Jayne Juvan will partner with Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) to present “Role of the Board: Practical Training on Board Responsibilities & Effective Governance,” hosted by Tucker Ellis.

The conversation between Jayne and the speakers – Kathryn Heideman, President  & CEO, Cleveland Institute of Art; Randy McShepard, Vice President, Public Affairs and Chief Talent Officer, RPM International; and Elizabeth Voudouris, President & CEO, BVU – will focus on why strong leadership and good, strategic governance ultimately drive successful results for organizations. The panelists will discuss the importance of leadership’s clear, disciplined decisions in building strength and trust and sustaining their missions; how compliance with the legal fiduciary framework is the minimum necessary for organizations; and how going well above and beyond what the law requires helps organizations thrive – driving home the fact that these practices are not optional, but the fundamental performance driver that determine an organization’s financial strength and long-term sustainability.
