On January 21, Sandy Wunderlich co-presented “Do I Need a License for That?” – an IADC webinar sponsored by its Intellectual Property Committee. Sandy explored licenses of copyrighted works, how to decide if you need a license to use the work, the kind of license you may need, and how to obtain it. Attendees gained a broad overview of copyrights and the meaning and application of fair use as it relates to use of music, photographs, and other images in presentations, advertisements, and social media, including how AI is impacting the enforcement of copyright infringement claims.
