Jarard P. Williams
Jarard Williams defends both national and multinational corporate clients in complex civil litigation matters with an emphasis on mass tort and product liability claims.
Drawing on first-chair courtroom experience and an entrepreneurial background, Jarard brings keen analytical and problem-solving skills to his legal practice. His research-driven motion practice has contributed to the affirmation of defense verdicts at the appellate level and to efficient, value-oriented resolutions through targeted settlements.
In addition to his focus in the area of mass tort and product liability, Jarard has significant experience with business litigation, including property damage cases, consumer fraud claims, workers compensation claims, personal injury cases, and contract disputes.
Before entering private practice, Jarard served as an assistant district attorney in Nashville, where he conducted hearings and bench trials in a variety of misdemeanor and felony matters. His earlier legal experience includes work with the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office in Memphis, and the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, building a foundation in investigations, witness preparation, and litigation readiness.
Jarard’s previous role as a digital entrepreneur and founder of a luxury clothing brand—where he managed supply chain operations, e‑commerce integrations, social media marketing, and data-driven advertising campaigns—gives him a firsthand understanding of the operational pressures businesses face and informs his pragmatic, cost-sensitive litigation strategies.
Committed to advancing inclusion and community engagement, Jarard has presented to the American Bar Association on space law and has participated in public discussions and media on inclusivity, human rights implications, and the societal impact of space policy. He also has written on criminal justice issues, including the psychological effects of solitary confinement and practical approaches to reform. Jarard has also taken the initiative to mentor aspiring first-generation law students of color, helping to foster greater diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
