On October 16, Tariq Naeem discussed the prescription opioid litigation at the Product Liability Advisory Council’s Fall Meeting in Salt Lake City. In “The Costs of Pain: Lessons Learned in the Wake of the Opioid Crisis,” Tariq and his co-presenters provided a historical background on the opioid crisis in the U.S. and used the ongoing litigation to highlight issues for future cases seeking to hold product manufacturers liable for public health concerns.
