Tucker Ellis is pleased to announce that Tom Peppard has been named practice group leader of the firm’s Corporate, M&A, and Securities practice, and Chaz Weber has been named practice group leader of the Finance practice.

Tom Peppard advises public and privately held companies – with a particular focus on middle-market clients – in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, information technologies, marketing, consulting, industrial services, metals manufacturing and recycling, waste management and hauling, aviation maintenance and repair, financial and professional services, home improvement, construction and material-handling, transportation and logistics, and consumer goods. He helps clients accelerate growth by counseling them on matters including formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes, corporate restructuring and reorganization, commercial real estate, and financing. Tom succeeds Jayne Juvan as practice group leader, a role Jayne has held since 2018.

Chaz Weber advises regional and national banks, private capital providers, and real estate funds and sponsors, guiding them through sophisticated real estate financing and development transactions. He has extensive experience representing agents, lenders, and borrowers in structuring and documenting a wide range of credit facilities for clients including developers, owners, real estate management and investment firms, REITs, and private equity real estate funds. Chaz frequently acts as lead agent counsel on complex syndicated credit facilities, advising on diverse collateral structures such as subscription-secured credit facilities, traditional mortgage-secured single-asset financings, and credit facilities for REITs and private equity real estate funds secured by pools of mortgaged or unencumbered real property. Chaz succeeds Tom Ostrowski, who has served as practice group leader since 2018.
