Maxwell D. Huber

Max Huber defends clients across a range of industries in product liability, mass tort, and PFAS litigation.

Max is experienced in managing all aspects of trial preparation and discovery, including conducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts; defending clients for deposition; and coordinating the completion of written discovery and document production, as well as supervising document review and ESI search projects. He drafts dispositive motions, trial briefs, pleadings, and discovery motions and argues motions in both state and federal courts.

Max works with chemical companies and product manufacturers engaged in PFAS – “forever chemicals” – litigation. He is part of a team of Tucker Ellis attorneys handling complex PFOA, PFOS, GenX, and other chemicals cases in some of the nation’s most difficult jurisdictions.

In both Missouri and Illinois, Max has defended doctors and nurses in medical malpractice and deliberate indifference claims, and he has successfully defended several 1983 civil rights actions in federal court.

In his spare time, Max enjoys watching St. Louis Blues hockey and movies, playing golf, and spending time with friends, family, and his dog Daisy.
