Su-Lyn Combs is a trial attorney with over fifteen years of litigation experience in both federal and state courts. Her practice primarily involves the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device companies in mass tort or single-plaintiff product liability actions. Ms. Combs has significant experience representing manufacturers in multidistrict and coordinated state litigation involving prescription drugs and medical devices. She has served as national coordinating counsel, on national counsel teams and as local counsel.
Ms. Combs has extensive experience in all phases of pretrial litigation on the national and local level, including written discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, defending and preparing company witnesses, and defense expert development. Ms. Combs has drafted and argued numerous pretrial motions, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions and Daubert motions.
Ms. Combs also has experience in defending complex construction defect, personal injury, general product liability, and insurance defense matters.
Ms. Combs received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver in 1997, where she was General Editor of the Denver University Law Review.
