Counsel
Cleveland, OH | D 216.696.5696 | F 216.592.5009
overview

Sarena Holder focuses on the national defense of product manufacturers in high-exposure products liability and premises liability matters.

Specializing in asbestos exposure claims, Sarena routinely defends manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, premises owners, and employers in both state and federal courts nationwide. She is experienced in the defense of non-asbestos toxic tort claims, including coal mine dust, talc, and silica exposures, and advises clients on tender and indemnification, liability, and Medicare lien resolution and tracking.

Sarena has a background in all stages of civil litigation from fact investigation to trial preparation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, oral argument, and settlement negotiation. She also dedicates time to representing indigent clients in pro bono matters, taking a particular interest in minor and refugee guardianship issues.

In law school, Sarena served as Managing Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review, and as the sole student representative on the Dean’s Advisory Committee for Bar Exam Passage.

A proud native and resident of Shaker Heights, she enjoys reading, Sundays at the library with her husband and two children, and exploring the many cultural institutions in and around Cleveland.
