Lauren Lipsyc provides client-focused, reliable, and responsive representation across diverse areas of transactional law.

Lauren represents lenders in secured financing transactions spanning the retail, manufacturing, office, hospitality, industrial, health care, and other commercial industries. She has experience analyzing title, survey, and zoning matters relating to real estate collateral, and she drafts loan documents for commercial finance transactions based on unique deal terms. She assists clients from the outset, as she works up a deal checklist, to successful closings, as she adds the polishing touches on final, executed documents.

Lauren also advises companies on corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder obligations and reporting requirements, drafts contract language, and represents buyers and sellers across industries in corporate transactions. She prepares disclosure schedules for mergers and acquisitions, and she has experience with contract negotiations, including negotiations in the area of securities law and insurance.

Using her background in social and applied economics, Lauren particularly enjoys analyzing, interpreting, and advising on complex regulatory structures at the federal, state, and local levels. She finds it energizing to help clients tackle any roadblocks and make smart business decisions.

In her free time, Lauren’s favorite pastime is throwing tennis balls to her White German Shepherd, Pearl. She equally delights in playing tennis with humans, listening to country music, and discovering great doughnut shops around Cleveland. Passionate about health care policy and bioethics, Lauren values volunteering with health-centered initiatives.
